Of course there will be a "resolution." When you get down to it the DC politico's primary concern isn't cutting back spending right now. Instead it's making sure he or she won't get voted out of office. And you can bet that any bigtime cuts in federal spending will cause wild groans and gnashing of teeth from coast to coast, and those politicos responsible will get booted out of office and have to become lobbyists or something. Today has been a dramatic farce. And Neither side has the backbone to take its professed beliefs to the mat, despite high-sounding campaign rhetoric to the contrary. But what do I know? I'm just a guy who can't afford gasoline for his car.
